First ROS 3D Contest Entry: Taylor Veltrop's Humanoid Teleoperation

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

Taylor Veltrop has made the first entry to our ROS 3D Contest. He uses the Kinect, and NITE to put a Kondo-style humanoid through pushups, waves, and other arm-control gestures. Great work! We look forward to seeing more entries.

Hi everyone!

Please take a look at my entry in the Kinect/RGB-D contest! I'm really happy with how it's turned out so far.

It's a small humanoid hobby robot by Kondo with a Roboard running ROS. The arms are controlled master/slave style over the network by a Kinect.
