Experimental VirtualBox Appliance

This appliance is running x86 Ubuntu 10.04 Desktop, with only a few tweaks (virtualbox guest additions, console colors, vim, and a decent .vimrc file).

Installation

• Install VirtualBox. It is freely available for most popular systems.

• Download the appliance and the disk image (4.6 GB).

• Import the appliance into virtualbox. The import wizard is in "File -> Import Virtual Appliance..."

• Once the appliance is imported, you can delete the files you downloaded and extracted.
• Start the VM and enjoy.
