The Fast Template Detector (FTD) library is an implementation of a template detector based on SSE optimized fast matching of binary data. An example of such data are Dominant Orientation Templates (see 'Dominant orientation templates for real-time detection of texture-less objects' by Hinterstoisser et al.).
